Summative Task

Taking informed action:

Understand - Students will interview a family member who belongs to a union. Students will gather information showing both the positive and negative points of belonging to a union.

Assess - Students will read some common union contracts to determine what working conditions have changed from 1937 to today.

Act - Students can write to a local or state government representative about a working injustice that they believe still exists.
