Q2: Were women who worked in factories treated unfairly?
Formative Performance Task:
Students will look at 3 pieces of evidence that show evidence of women facing unjust treatment. Students will create game board pieces based on the women mentioned for a fictional game called Unionopoly. Students will each receive 6 index cards. On each card, they need a picture on the front relating to the information they are putting on the back. The back of each card will have a written description of a person, a consequence or a location. The 6 cards should be based on:
2 women (women referred to in the sources)
2 consequence cards (2 actions they felt were unfair against women)
2 locations (where did they work)
