Sponsored by the Citizens Committee for Equal Opportunity and the Virginia Park Citizens Committee, a jobs fair, called the “Jobs Now! Conference,” is held at Hutchins Junior High School, near the place where Detroit’s Civil Unrest will erupt exactly two months later.
